Eastern Oregon (Hill on Fire)

Oil pastel by Charlotte Spicer of an Eastern Oregon hillside full of bright yellow flowers. The hill looked to be on fire with such warm yellows and oranges. The old limb from a tree was engulfed by the sunlit flowers just as if it was on fire. It was actually a very hot day. We had hiked up to a fire look out and here was this beautiful scene. We sat in the shade and watched the hill "on fire".
this is an oil pastel on pastel paper all acid free materials

will be sent matted in a white mat with acid free backing
outside of mat will measure 22" x 28"
